HVCCC is an independent, Member-funded logistics organisation that is globally recognised for facilitating collaborative and efficient coal chain operations. Our unique end-to-end view enables us to plan, coordinate, monitor and report on the whole coal chain.

HVCCC's purpose and vision flow directly from our foundational Objects, reflecting our role within the evolving Hunter Valley Coal Chain and our commitment to serving our Members.

Our Objects

To plan and coordinate the cooperative operation and alignment of the coal chain in order to maximise the volume of coal transported through the coal chain, at minimum total logistic cost, in accordance with the agreed collective needs and contractual obligations of Producers and Service Providers.

To independently optimise the end-to-end coal chain to best serve our Members' collective needs.

HVCCC was established in 2009 and has evolved significantly since its formation, as Industry members agreed to work together to create efficiencies in the coal chain which benefited all parties equally.
